My PC with Vista is having some problems, anybody got any suggestions for the best anti-adware/ spyware software, good at detection and removal or quarantine? Thanks for any help!

you may find that one antispyware tool doesn't detect everything.
Have a look at Superantispyware - free version doesn't have resident protection but the scan engine is one of the best

Spybot Search & Destroy (Tea Timer provides a measure of protection if enabled) and Spyware Terminator (offers free resident protection but don't activate Webguard unless you need antiphishing protection) are two good alternatives
