I've used Norton Antivirus but it takes up a lot of resources. My firewall has always been ZoneAlarm but it also uses tons of resources (not to mention its antivirus isn't very user friendly). I liked how Norton would let me select what types of programs to let through (trojan, dialer, hack tools etc.).
Out of these three antivirus/firewall bundles which is the best in terms of resource footprint and scanning quality?
Kaspersky Internet Security 7
Comodo Firewall Pro Plus
ESET Smart Security

ESET Smart security is the lowest resource of ANY antivirus. It has a pretty fast scanner and has brilliant detection. For e.g.
When the MyDoom virus came out a long time ago (one of the worst viruses of all time), ESET already had a fix (thanks to advanced heurestics) whilst other contender were making fixes.
This means that the program itself blocked the unknown virus without any ESET person doing anything.

ESET… very light and has great heuristics.

i would go with Eset NOD32 and Comodo… i think its a winning combination in any kind of a way.

no comparison, ESET Smart Security is the best and very LOW, LOW, on system resources.
