well my anti-virus just expired about two weeks ago
i have Trend Micro anti-virus and Webroot Spy Sweeper. total it would be about 70$ to renew
and recently i heard of AVG free anti-virus
is it good?
does it scan like spy sweeper and scan for viruses like trend micro?

AVG is excellent. If you have the standard free version its fine. But if you purchase the full package, its brilliant. Yes it scans like Trend micro n that x

AVG is a great anti virus for people who do not like complicated, Anti Viruses don't protect you from malware which are the pop ups that never go away unless you reset your computer.

I prefer using Kaspersky. In comparison to Trend Micro and AVG. I haven't had any complaints about viruses from my brothers or friends.

Avast! is my opinion is the best real time anti virus scanner and also has very advanced options for on demand scanning, it catches viruses before they get a chance to infect you, it is updated daily and you can get it for free off their website.
