I was working on Youtube and was trying to use the Quick Capture feature.
I got the camera started and let Youtube do its thing. I left it for 2 hours and when I came back,Youtube was still loading it. I clicked refresh and instantly got a BSOD for a split second before my laptop restarted by itself. What went wrong?
Just so you know, this is the first time ive ever gotten the BSOD

Don't know exactly. But if I were you, I would make sure my important files were backed up and run a software scan on the hard drive to make sure its not about to kick the bucket.

this happened to me before too… The main thing is that some computers, like ours, don't like to be left alone. Meaning, when it went to screen saver, it stopped uploading. And when you moved the mouse, it started freaking out. Causing it to restart.
What i do is when i'm uploading a video is do something else on the computer while it uploads without leavin it alone.
(ex: open new tab on computer and search the web; open up the internet again and search web; or simply open up pinball or solitare)

It could be a problem with your web browser. Maybe the javascript on youtube was too much for the processor and it just crashed. You should try running a disk check (scandisk for Win95/98 and error checking on WinXP/2000) Then scan for viruses and malware. IF that doesn't work then replace your web browser. If all that fails and the BSOD keeps appearing then reinstall Windows(or whatever operating system you have)
