Hi,
I’m pretty sure I have discovered why my laptop crashes (blue screen) when I boot up in my work building. It is from insufficient power to the system. I have never had a crashing problem in four years at home or anywhere else I have plugged in this particular laptop.
So my question is, can I buy a higher-powered AC Adapter that would give me more juice and keep it from crashing? Perhaps a generic one compatible with a lot of laptops. I have a Fujitsu LifeBook C Series.
Thanks a lot

Boosting available power will not bump up the power within the system; if it did, you’d fry the whole sheebang.
Get a cheap ‘multimeter’ and check the output of your power adapter. These get frayed wires and tend to under supply the computer.
A nice versatile charger that works at home and in the car is “I GO”.
Check their website for what model & adapters you need. They were cheaper than a replacement Toshiba charger for me at least.
