I was just on my computer (just incase you don’t realize, I’m typing this from a different computer) and it randomly went to a blue screen saying “Problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. IVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.”
It says other stuff but that’s not that important as a lot of it doesn’t make sense because my monitor isn’t full screen. It also says “Problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. You need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer. Pres F8 to select advanced startup options and then select safe mode.” Most of those sentances probably have an in at the front by the way. I haven’t installed any new thing at all recently, I got a new monitor but that’s it and it required no installation of anything.
Pressing F8 like it says does nothing and I can’t get away from that blue screen. It also says “Beggining dump of physical memory, physical memory dump complete” what does this mean!? When I turn my computer of it will go to the welcome screen, then quickly my desktop with everything I had on it, nothing gone but then it goes back to this screen! I was in the middle of writing an essay that’s due tommorow, help!
It also says STOP: 0X000000D1 (0X000000004, 0X000000002, 00000000000000001, 0×82838350)
Note that the number of zeros isn't exact.
How do I restart my computer? I'm completely stuck on this screen, when I turn it off it goes to the blue screen right away.
