Yeah well, I was at school and my mom was on the computer. She then turned it off and when I came back, whenever I turn it on (even in safe mode or any mode when I press f8), it doesnt boot. If it gets to the windows loading screen, I will get the blue screen of death (no way to see whats the error, it pops for .1 seconds and then reboot my comp) if I use other modes like safe mode, at one time of the loading it will just reboot. There is CD-Keys I have on a note-pad I want to get, reformating is not an option here. Is there any way to put a disk in my driver to try to restor or at least find whats the problem. I dont have my window's cd (my uncle is the one that instaled it on my pc). I now have a laptopwith windows on it tho, is there any way to brn something on a CD to then use it on my PC?

A recovery CD is the only option. I had this exact same situation with my laptop. I tried to take a video of it in order to see the error message. If you have another computer, or your friend has a computer with the same operating system, go into help and look up burning a recovery CD. That should do the trick.

you need to run a scan on your hard drive which might mean plugging it into another computer

before you accept the first answer, do this:
hold down the F8 key whilst booting, then if you get a black boot screen seflect the "Start in Safe mode" option
Then after it has booted, just restart normally.
It's worth a try.

You may try a Windows recovery CD (but works only if your hard drive can be found). In case this doesn't work try to download a CD driven OS like Knoppix (linux distribution, free) with your laptop, change at your PC the boot order in Bios (usually C / D /A) to D / C … (D: your CR-R / DVD drive and try starting the system from CD. In case only your Windows system is crashed or corrupted, you can access your files with the Knoppix file explorer and copy it e.g. to an USB device (external drive / stick).
Good luck

Well…if you have no cd for reformating then you could try using your laptop to transfer files from your desktop. then you can just burn the cd keys to a blank cd.
