I had been burning songs as data on Vista and when I would copy and paste to CD, they would have the little down arrow, then they would burn using the option, “you have files waiting to be burned” with the icon on the notification bar when I would click and it would start to burn to disk and show how much time was remaining to finish. After finishing, it would say “finished burning, would you like to create another disk and eject the CD.
Now for some reason, when I copy and paste, they just begin to paste on the CD and does not indicate if it has finished burning nor time remaining and the CD takes time to eject.
Is there anyway to go back to the ‘you have files.. finished..
Thanks.
Angie

With Windows Vista, you’ll copy and paste them onto the disk through Windows Explorer, and when you hit the “EjecT” on your DVD/CD try, it will begin burning the files to the disk.

i would use nero or roxio because they are easier to use and faster windows vista sometimes takes hours to burn little files.
