CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2008, Help Please

I just bought the CA internet security suite and i am trying to update, but it wont update. i tried to reinstall it, but still the same thing. it looks like it wont connect to the server. when i try to update a table comes up and says: AN ERROR HAS BEEN DETECTED WHILE TRYING TO MAKE AN INTERNET CONNECTION. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CONNECTION SETTINGS AND TRY AGAIN.
all the connection settings are ok. all the other products i have are able to update except CA. please help

      Well I think u intalled a copy which is already registered with CA server thats why its unable to update once again.

      sounds like aliens have something to do with this, wrap your computer in tinfoil and you’ll be good to go.
