I have searched the topic but have not come across an answer.
I have an older ( 2002,) Dell 4500 with a Nvidia TI 4200 graphics card ( 64mb.) I currently have a 19" Dell flat CRT monitor and want to upgrade ( internet, general computing,) my monitor to a larger Lcd. The card has the digital output, and I've also downloaded the latest drivers which through the Nvidia control panel in which I can choose resolutions up to the 2000 area. Can this card run a larger Lcd monitor?
Also, I noticed that some of the resolution options in the Nvidia contorl panel do not match Lcd monitor specs exactly, they are close but not the same, eg: 1600×1200 and the monitor is 1650×1280, etc. Will that work?
Thanks for any help/advice.
