July 15th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I want to use the wifi feature on my Nintendo DS but it only accepts WEP settings and i dont want to change the security settings of my router [forgotten password] so can i get around this problem by purchasing a wireless USB router to use in addition with my router??? The USB wireless having WEP settings and the Router having different settings?

Factory-reset your router… This'll clean all the passwords you've changed. After that, the default password should either be written on the box, or should be something easy to remember (i.e. "admin", "password" or just nothing).

That said, you can buy a USB wireless dongle and make a network. However, the chance of interference between the first dongle and the receiver will be increased significantly.

If you are on a phone line DSL then you can use only one router, Reset your old router by pushing a small indented button on the rear of the router.
