Can and how do I delete the mark_32.dll file?

My sister’s computer is having problems this mark_32.dll file keeps coming up as the location of a virus. Can I delete this file? If so, how do I delete it or remove it? I don’t want to have to pay for a program/software to get rid of it. Please help!!
