My HP laptop got a virus or spyware. The background was changed to a screen that says you hava a spyware or malware on your computer you need to install a antivirus to remove it. Well I now have kaspersky antivirus and it cant find the spyware and i loaded adsware it couldnt find it. The Blue screen is also gotten rid of my backround function so i cant change my background or screen saver and the screen saver has these rouches that can come out and look like they are eating the screen. Is there a way to remove the spyware or do i have to reformat?

Your best course of action would be to go to the Castle Cops Malware Removal and Prevention site and read and follow the the directions.

Ahh, i had that problem before. Realy, all other options are just temp. I suggest you reinstall the OS and use Avast antivirus avalible at http://www.avast.com it is free and use Windows Defender as the anti spyware.

I assume you can't surf the net?
If not, try a system restore,before formatting.
Formatting should be your last resort.
