It was just fine and now I can't download any music. I don't download anything but mp3's which are supposed to be free of viruses, so I don't understand what went wrong. It lets me play the music in my library.

limewire is suppose to work with a firewall, but you probably
have a router right, you can open ports inyour router for limewire buy going into the log in into your router and port
forwarding. But if you dont wanna do that just disable the firewall
you are using whenever you use limewire to get a good connection , you are really safe with a router because all routers will block hack attacks through NAT filtering so go ahead, but for me limewire works good with my router and comodo firewall. If you dont have a router you can configure a
rule in the firewall.
