Can Bootcamp for macs run games like Crysis at full speed?

June 19th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Ok, I'm planning on buying a macbook and installing bootcamp on it so that it can run the Windows XP OS. I just want to know if this can run games like Crysis, Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, etc. at full speed as if I were running it on a computer specifically made for gaming.
Thanks in advance!

If I remember correctly, boot camp just changes which OS boots. In this case, it would work fine, because you would just be running windows.

Yes, Bootcamp works completely fine with games. If you want to game, be sure to get a Macbook Pro (not the Macbook) You can play with a smooth FPS. But I wouldn't crank the settings to all high for demanding games like Crysis. It's demanding for laptop in general.
