Can I Have McAfee and Ad-Aware On The Same Computer?

July 17th, 2008 · 2 Comments

The reason i want Ad-Aware and McAfee is because McAfee doesn't find anything.

Yet on my old computer Ad-Aware found lots of cookies etc.

Btw my McAfee is the all in one security suite with tools to block spyware, adware and viruses etc. Everything basically

So is it ok to have both of them running on my computer?

Update* - The Ad-Aware is the free version 2008!

and my McAfee is the paid version

Thanks for you help in advance!

(*Btw i have asked this question once before and i would just like more opinions. Reading as some ppl were saying the opposite to what others were saying.)

Yes, you can have McAfee and AdAware on the same PC. You can't have 2 antivirus programs together, but AdAware is not antivirus (it's anti-spyware) so that's OK.
