Im thinking about buying a new computer but it doesn't come with any OS so i was wondering if i could remove Vista from my old desktop and put it on my new one. I bought the Vista disk and Product key for my original one because no OS was pre-installed like the one i want to buy. Can i transfer it to a new one?

If you bought the retail version, a.k.a. full package product, then you are can transfer your licensed copy of Vista from one computer to another.
If you have the OEM version, the license cannot be transferred from its original PC to another PC. The license of your Vista is like "married" to your old desktop.
