can i run trend micro antivirus at the same time as symantect enpoint protection?

I know that i cant run two anti-viruses at the same time. and for some reason i have symantec endpoint protection and trend micro anti-virus. both of them are enabled. but when i disable trend micro the security center says that malware protection is off but symantec endpoint anti-virus is turned on. so then i turn on trend micro again. is it ok if both of those are running at the same time?
