can i uninstall and reinstall itunes without losing my music in my library, because itunes isn't working right?

      Go into your itunes folder and you will see a folder containing all of the songs saved in itunes.. make a copy of it and put it on your desktop.. delete itunes and reinstall.. then place music folder back in itunes folder.

      Yes you can. It doesn't matter where your music is. If you want to feel like you are in the "extra" safe side. Backup your music to a personal folder. When you reinstall iTunes on the top menu go to File->Add Folder To Library (File->Add To Library in Mac OS X) and add that folder. Hope this helped.
