can someone help me with C++ .DLL's?

I am trying to make a DLL for my program but i cant find create new DLL in C++.

i am using visual C++ 2005

do i need to install something to get the other items to work? i dont get it.

I just want to create a DLL, but i cant find it in create new project or item.
please help

      Why Visual C++ 2005, why not try using Visual Studio 2008, Visual C++ 2008.

      I too am trying to work with DLL files, but I'm using DLL files, not creating them yet.

      sorry, idk too much about C++, I'm currently programming in VB.NET.
