Can you replace a Windows system DLL?

May 9th, 2009 · 2 Comments

My AVG virus protected deleted a windows system dll and whenever I start up my computer I get this this error:

RUNDLL (title)
Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\wujhev.dll
This specific module could not be found.

(or something similar)

After clicking OK, this is followed momentarily by *DUNT* (windows sound).

I was wondering if I could have a friend send me that specific file from his computer and drop it in my C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. Would this work
Ok Thank you for your response.

I believe AVG removed this file already. So how do I get this error to stop coming up?

First off, that DLL is a VIRUS. You DON'T want that file.
Delete it IMMEDIATELY. No questions, just do it.

End of story, hope it helps, and SAGE.

Yes, you can, and when you are done screwing your computer up even more, don't come back here asking us how to fix it!
