Cannot download attachments in Yahoo Mail — Norton scanning message never goes away no matter what file size?

Whenever I try to download an attachment in Yahoo Mail, I get the "scanning for viruses with Norton" etc. message but it never stops. No matter what the file size, the scanning message never goes away and I cannot download attachments onto this computer.

If I forward the message to another computer it works fine so it's not the attachment that's the problem. This started happening a few weeks ago.

I also have no problem with any other webmail (Hotmail etc).

Windows XP
Firefox 3.0 (although it was happening with 2.0 as well)

Have you downloaded AT&T Internet Security Suite powered by McAfee via Yahoo? Can you download Attachments?
