I installed kaspersky 2009 antivirus in my windows xp pc. but now i cant run it. it shows a window saying "the operation has been can cancelled due to restriction in effect on this computer. please contact your system admistrator."
I tried many times. I installed windows xp again, then installed kaspersky anti virus and tried to run but same problem occurs.
Can anyone help me???

rename kaspersky executable to something else. It is likely that this is a virus in effect.

hello, i ran into the same problem w/my laptop. i hope these tips help, i would delete any previous anti virus software. i would go to add/remove programs, delete the current program/kapersky 2009, uinstall, then reinstall it. reboot, then try it. is it possible to have conflicting software? like is it possibly already installed? i had sucess uninstall/reinstall, make sure all windows are closed etc. all else fails, try their customer service with error codes ready, good luck!
