Today I was surfing the web when I noticed a new program had worked its way onto my start menu. Soon thereafter, I got a new, blue desktop wallpaper with an ad in the middle that seems to be from this new program. The program is Antivirus XP 2008. When I went to the control panel and then to ‘add/remove programs’ and clicked ‘remove’, the wizard comes up and says it has been successfully uninstalled when it hasn’t. It doesn’t disappear from the list of programs and I keep getting a bubble in the lower right tray about every 20 seconds to tell me to remove all the viruses on my computer. I’ve run legitimate anti-spy, and that didn’t remove it. How do I get rid of this annoying program?! (without buying it)

You got one of the most annoying trojans you can remove it manually or download Windows Defender. This website helped me a lot to get rid of it.
