Okay, so I’m trying to install Kaspersky Internet Security onto my computer from it’s disc. I run the installation, but it cannot proceed because there is a program called “AVG 8″ on my computer. I looked through the programs list, and there is no program there called that. I also looked through the program folders, and there was a folder there so I deleted it, but my Internet Security STILL will not set up because it says that program is on my computer. How come I cannot find it and uninstall it? Somebody please help me and tell me what to do. Thank you.

there’s probably a square with four sections in the bottom-right hand side of the screen, double click it and you’ll know what to do, if u don’t, just cancel the test center.

Dear End User,
Using REGEDIT locate the following two ( if they exist ) registry keys and remove them…
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVG
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AVG8Uninstall
Restart the system
