I’ve recently reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP. I installed Yahoo v9 and it was working as intended, no problems. Just before shutting down for the night I notice my ‘buddy list’ window has disappeared. The icon didn’t show up in the task bar either. I tried to open Yahoo again, still nothing. I checked in the task manager and saw it was still running. So, I closed it and shut down the computer.
Today I decided to uninstall and reinstall Yahoo. Well, when I tried to uninstall using the Add/Remove Program it would just freeze. I let it go for a long time and nothing changed. I ended up uninstalling it manually. Now, when I try to reinstall it gets to 99% and just hangs there. I wait and wait. Nothing happens. So, I end up closing it.
I don’t know what’s up. I haven’t changed anything and I haven’t had any big problems like this before with it. I’ve been using version 9 for awhile now. I even tried to install version 8 and 7. Same deal. Any help would be appreciated!
