I just got my PC back from being repaired (broken DVD drive, hardware not software problem) and they messed around with my computer a lot.
Firefox was missing, my keyboards LCD display drivers were missing, all kind of weird stuff. The main thing was that I couldn’t use Vista Aero anymore. It’s stuck in Vista basic with no option to change to Aero.
I tried rating my PC again and it got a base score of 3. I know it can run Aero cause I’ve been doing it for about a year now.
Anyone know how I can activate Vista Aero again?
I got the latest driver for my card, no change.
I'm on Vista Home Premium.

The reason is probably that your video card driver is not installed.

first of all, do they reinstall your windows? because if its a vista basic, that probably would be the caused. otherwise, it might caused by not having a graphic card/ video card driver. try to install back all the driver
