Can you tell what game it is? It would be much easier to tell you then…

Try uninstalling it in safe mode.

You can try doing that 'remove software' you can find in control panel. Or just delete the thing manually by finding its program folder and later repairing registry with these free registry repair programs.

if it doesn't uninstall in the control panel>add or remove programs then find the uninstaller of that game then double click it or the installer of that game double click it….

There are many programs that are so cleverly coded that you have difficulty removing them, even going through Add & Remove Programs…
Here is a handy little tool that is FREE
download and follow the instructions
and those nuisance programs will be removed on reboot.
Use Program:
REMOVE ON BOOT SHELL EXTENSION
Go to:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/removereboot.html
Scroll down to: (and click it to download)
Remove on Reboot Shell Extension - Free
OS: Windows
Size: 364 Kb
1. Download it
2. To remove program >Right click on your program folder that you want removed
3. Left click sub-menu option: REMOVE ON REBOOT
4. Then reboot your pc
I've had lots of great luck with this little program. I think you'll like it too.

c. scroll down to Programs >
d. then in Programs scroll down to the FOLDER that has the program you want to remove
e…then do the right click "remove on reboot" selection >
f. Restart your computer
