One of my sister’s stupid friends installed a bootleg version of Microsoft Office 2007 in my new laptop, without my consent, of course, because these kids are stupid like that. Anyway, I tried uninstalling it because I actually got a hold of a legit version of Office, and I want to install it, but now the bootleg Office WON’T UNINSTALL!!! I have tried uninstalling the software from Control Panel, and it tells me that the uninstall file is corrupted, or something; I can’t even use that Office; it seems to be locked; plust I don’t want no bootleg program in my laptop. Anyway… any ideas? How can I remove a program that seems uninstallable?
thanks in advance

Try going into your Program Files and physically removing the file folders, if not. Try restoring the computer back before they installed the bootleg version of Office.
If all else fails you might have to reformat the hard-drive.

If it can’t remove from control panel you could go to C:/ Program Files/ and then the folder where it was installed and delete it. The other thing you could do is reinstall your operating system if you really want to remove it. Before uninstalling your operating system make sure to back up all of your files.
