“Witch” is the Halloween character that rides a broom and wears a pointed hat. You mean “which”
Anyway, Kaspersky is better.

I don’t fully understand your question. You’re trying to install Kaspersky I got that, but it said you have install? do mean mean you have to uninstall something else?

Symantec is better for new users while Kaspersky requires quite a knowledge of virus

The best is ESET NOD32 Antivirus http://www.eset.com.sg/html/44/42/
ESET NOD32v3.0 Antivirus requires less system resources, after install only use 27M memory, Norton09 is 60M, KA09 is 55M, so NOD32 will not slow down your computer and give more rooms for other programs. NOD32 run faster than others, will save your time. NOD32 can detect unknow virus without virus sample file. Cllick here for competition report http://www.eset.com/products/compare-NOD32-vs-competition.php

Kaspersky is the best anti virus you will find. But you have to make sure all other anti virus programs have been completely un- installed. Especially anything as inferior as Symantec. That means anything Norton. If you have Norton on your machine delete everything. Delete it from your program list first then run CCleaner and delete all the registry keys that go with it. Look in files and folders and make sure everything Norton is deleted from there. You may even have to go into safe mode to get some files to delete because of there Trojan like ways. Good luck.
