Everybody knows that Kaspersky and NOD32 are two of the the best antivirus programs there’s no doubt about it. But which one is the best?

I am trying to do a windows 7 Upgrade, and Kaspersky Antivirus is keeping me from doing so. I NEVER installed Kaspersky Antivirus, and it does not show up on my programs list, how can I uninstall a program that doesn’t exist!?

When I starts/restarts win xp, sometimes it say that
database is corrupted, and sometimes runs fine,
sometimes it also converts 4m fine to database
corrupted without restarts and vice-versa.
I have tried:
Formatting windows several times,
changing manual databases and kis7 setup,
automatically update database,
activation using key
and activating trial versions….
….but problem persists.

If so, how does the free 30 day trail work? Could I scan an infected computer with it and be able to remove the viruses that it may find? Some programs won’t give you all of the features with their free trial software. This is important.

There’s something wrong with it. I mean, I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, and after installation, it says its database is corrupted and obsolete. I clicked Fix, and it started updating. After it updates, it still says database is corrupted and obsolete. I uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times, and still it’s like that.
