We recently had to go back to a previous monitor, and i have to run it in safe mode w/ networking to do anything. when i try to normally boot the computer, it says that it's out of range and i should set the monitor to 1024×768 and @60 hz, so i changed the resolution, but i have no idea how to change the hz…? help?
There is no option to change the refresh rate, it just has one choice to 'use hardware setting'

You'll need to use the menu buttons on the monitor itself to change the frequency.

Go to any area on the monitor. Click right. Select Properties. Select Configurations. Click Advanced. Select Monitor. Choose the appropriate Hz.
