charter is actually Fsecure which is ok, but I perfer AVG Free. Which is free!

AVG def does not suck. I work in the IT industry. It is very well known and liked. Charter is way worse then AVG I can promise you that. Also the new AVG 8 comes with antivirus/spyware combined. However if you don't like avg, try Avast for free? Or stick with your charter. Its just personal opinion, and that is what you asked me.

F-secure is a really good anti virus and yes AVG does suck and has a very low detection rate.
