Im starting to get lag when switching between 2 or 3 Wikipedia pages, Limewire and iTunes. I never had an issue before. I notice iTunes and Limewire are using more Mem. Usage than before, due to added music?
Im running 1 gig mem and a AMD anthlon 64 X2 3800+. So do I need more memory or is it a CPU issue?
Is there a way to cut down Limewire and iTunes Mem usage?
Im positive its not viruses or the likes… Im anal about keeping my comp safe!
ITS NOT LIMEWIRE…. man some dont listen. I've been running it for years and can download WELL KNOW viruses and destroy them!!! My computer is so secure….
I run, Threat Fire for rootkits, AD-Aware for Spware and the works, Spyware Treminator, Spysweeper, Spybot search and Destroy, my firewall, and Bit Defender. ITS NOT A VIRUS! Also run CCleaner, Registry Fix and EasyCleaner.
Its also not my HD, I have 200 gigs free on my Comp.
and Have 2 external hard drives, Looks like more MEMORY, thanks to the ones that actually read the post!
Going straight to Crucial.com!
Oh and Norton Antivirus…haha Amazing I can get them to all work together huh, you need to disable some features here and there but yeah…NOT A VIRUS!!!

yup get more RAM memory.
2GB should be enough but if your doing all those things at the same time, get 3GB if you have the money.

I would say you need more memory, your computer starts to react more slower when the hardrive is full.

yeah you should first of all get rid of limewire. and download from torrents like mininova, piratebay. then try upgrading your RAM. not CPU. then cleanup your hard drive with an open-disk cleanup.
Hope this helps.

Limewire and iTunes use up A LOT of RAM first of all, and the slowness of the wiki pages is due to your internet connection not your computer, I was suggest Buying a Gig more of RAM
