Computer freezing and slowing down….?

Okay I really need help…I’m on my college wireless network, everything fine then SUDDENLY I get the ” ! ” over my internet box and it says ” Limited Connectivity” and then my computer slows down soo much, I turn off the switch for wireless connectivity but it’s still slow, and it won’t shut down, I had to do it manually….please help !
Oh I have Window's Vista, if that helps

      Welcome to the world of wireless troubleshooting.

      Everything we'd suggest would be a shot in the dark from our end.

      My guess is that there is probably someone else on the network hogging all the bandwidth, thus, kicking you off. If this is the case, you might have to open up a can of whoop-a$$.

      If you know where the wireless access point is, you might want to reset it by unplugging it and plugging it back in, then rebooting your computer.
