Computer getting two .dll file errors on boot up?

April 22nd, 2009 · 4 Comments

Recently I started experiencing problems with malware on my computer and installed a few virus programs to scan for such things. Suddenly the computer began having all kinds of trouble on boot up, It takes 5 or 6 restarts before the computer will recognize my usb keyboard no matter what usb plug it is plugged into. When it finally recognizes the keyboard and I am able to enter my password, I get two error messages "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\bisepufi.dll" and "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system\verbikosi.dll"

I have tried googling these error codes and haven't been able to find much except that I might possibly have a serious computer infection and I'm not entirely sure how to fix it because my current programs Avast, AVG, and Malwarebytes have not been able to fix it. I have seen something called ComboFix mentioned on several forums but I am very hesitant to try this unless it is a last resort because of the warnings of possible permanent system damage that are associated with it.

If anyone has any advice on how to fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated!!

just letting you know, you WOULD rather not have those .dll files
      because bisepufi.dll is a malware
and verbikosi.dll is not a real file.
maybe you have a virus on your computer, you should scan with a trusted antivirus

      start>run>msconfig.
      go to start up.

and extend the field so you can see the pathnames of the programs that are being run automatically.

      Find:

      C:\WINDOWS\system32\bisepufi.dll" C:\WINDOWS\system\verbikosi.dll"

      and uncheck them.

Try running Windows system file checker. It looks like two of your system files have been corrupted, deleted or possibly replaced.

BISEPUFI.DLL is malware, not sure about verbikosi.dll but I would suspect it is malware as well.. If your current AV programs will not do the job, go get Norton or McAfee and have it clean it up.
