Computer giving me error noise when turning volume up or down?

September 18th, 2008 · 3 Comments

You know the noise where if you do something wrong, it give the little beep from your tower right? And when you turn the volume up and down, it gives you a small little ding. Well the problem is that my computer makes the error noise from the tower instead of playing the ding.

My speakers work just fine and I can hear my music from them and everything, but it’s starting to annoy me now. The sound use to work just fine until my dad did something to it. help?

Note: I work with Windows XP
I tried going to the control panel and whatever and it didn't work

Go to Control Panel - Sounds and Audio Devices - Sounds and check your sound scheme. Set it to Windows Default.

      Hope this helps..

Take an axe and hit the tower with it. It’s garanteed that your computer will stop to annoy you by any means.
