First I restarted my laptop, a Dell with Windows VISTA. When it opened to the desktop my screen background was gone now its grey. When I open some programs I get a little triangle with Exclamation mark at the right bottom Corner near the clock. and reads YahooMessenger.exe -Corrupt File. The file or directory C:\Users\name\AppData\Roaming is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility. It dosnt let me log on to the messenger or in the web browser log on to view my Yahoo mail. I do get the Corrupt File popup when I open Internet Explorer and Word but it still works. I couldnt even log on to this Y! answers account I’m using my desktop to ask. Also I did a Virus/Malware scan and Spyware scan and found nothing. Thanks!

you probaly need to reinstall it so get a memory stick and put all your inportant file on there and go find a computer shop near you

i would reinstall vista again using the disk supplied but this time get an external hard drive or a memory stick to back up important stuff.Then install fire fox its a better browser than that Internet explorer.
