Alright, these are recent symptoms my computer has been having for a week now. The only changes that I have made was installing a multitude of games (about 6 or 7), and installing Windows updates.
These are my symptoms:
-My computer lags; I would have various windows open (i.e My computer, a file, internet explorer) and when I close one of these windows while a program was running, such as the setup screen of an install (and I decide to close a file window), or I double clicked on a shortcut icon to run a game(and I decide to close a window), or even watching a video on YouTube(and I… yes… close a window), it would stay there and my computer would think about it.
-These random lags which occur on a once-and-awhile basis bridge to the next problem which is the blue screen, where my computer tells me it’s taking a dump and I should restart my computer, if this has happened more than once I should go into my BIOS, and… etc
-This lagging has also bridged me to another problem, where it occurred (and this has been seen only once) and my computer recovered, only to reveal when I click on ‘My Computer’ That my Hard Disk Drive D is gone. I would need to restart my computer to see it again.
-Last, but not least, is when I reboot my computer, and this is every time I reboot my computer, I recieve this message: Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device. This can only be cured by going around it by simply shutting off my computer by the Power off button, then turning it back on… the message would not show itself, only again if I reboot.
Would someone please assist me? If you know the source, or can give possibilities as to what the perpetrator is, throw it all in my lap and I will do my best. Thank you for reading this.
