I just ran a registry cleaner onto my Vista computer, and it has now given me some problems. I ran CleanMyPc Registry Cleaner and fixed all the errors that came up, however afterwards my vista sidebar completely stopped working, even the ones that came preinstalled stop working, like the clock, all it now shows is a black circle and a red line pointing at 12. My McAfee has also had some issues now, and i’ve tried to restore the the files but it didn’t work. any ideas on how to fix what i’ve just done?
Would the recovery process remove all the other data that i have on my computer already?

if you have vista cd you can make a recovery of windows. follow the instructions at boot sequence with the cd inserted and create a backup copy of your registry. after that you won`t have problems anymore.
