ok so i can tell you that before the virus scan my Computer was still really slow but after i put McAfee VirusScan plus 2009 it got even slower and i have deleted all of my games and all of the things i don't regularly use but it still takes forever to get things up or do anything like it takes a half an hour to get up itunes or the internet or anything else besides Solitairee. is it do to the virus scan or something else and if so how can uninstalle the scan?

I stopped using McAfee years ago because it became what Norton became, bloatware. They slow down your pc and introduce problems of their own.
My friends and I have been very happy with nod32 from eset.com for several years.
For the best, google best anti-virus and read through the reviews that come up.
