I have a question about uninstalling a version of windows that is on my computer. I previously had Windows 98 on here, and now I have Windows ME.
I don't want Windows ME on here anymore because it is full of bugs and a lot of my programs don't work right. The problem lies in the fact that I can't find my windows 98 cd. Do I need to have the disk to revert back to the 98 Version? In the control panel it has the option to delete Windows ME, but I'm afraid to do it unless I know it will do it without the 98 CD
Live OneCare applies to computers that have XP or higher. Thank you for not even taking the time to read my question before you answered. If I could give you a thumbs down I would but I'm not level two yet.
As far as the other answers so far I want to thank you both for your answers. I will try to find my CD but I'm not sure I have it anywhere and if I find one to download I'm afraid Microsoft would zap my pc

Every operating system has a cd and if you want to install it, you need that cd.
