i first noticed the problem when norton 360 didn't open when windows started like how it's supposed to.
so then i pressed ctrl+alt+delete, and the hourglass appears for half a second and then disappears, nothing happens. i also try ctrl+shift+esc.
and then i tried using the registry editor to enable the task manager, but when i went to start -> run -> regedit.exe and clicked open, nothing happened.
all programs seem to start up slower, and i don't really want to install any software if possible.
help?
