okay I bought a laptop (compaq windows Vista home premium) I have had it for a few months. I bought a new game, so to make space for it i decided to uninstall a few other games. I tried to uninstall Viva Pinata, it just freezez, I tried to uninstall civ 5 it says setup.exe has stopped working. I tried to uninstall spore, another error message, I tried to uninstall another program it says im already installing something! Its driving me crazy, I used Norton 360 no viruses or spyware, I tried loads of online scanners and i seem to have no viruses, When i try to uninstall Games theres a different error message each time, I can uninstall downloaded software (live messenger etc) just games, its very annoying and I dont know what to do!

Goto Computer>LocalDisk/Vista>Program files> Then find the folder you stored the game in, hold shift and press delete.

put your os disc in and restart your computer. You should get a screen that says something like "emergency boot" , follow directions,or if you get a drive letter or maybe the msdos command prompt. Type in fdisk and follow the instructions. This will erase everything on your hard drive. It will also allow you to divide your hard drive into seperate partions. When all this is done you should get the command prompt screen. Type in the letter for the drive where your os disk is if it doesn't appear. When this happens, type in "format C" assuming C is the letter indicating your hard drive after reformatting your hard drive you should be allowed to reinstall everything just like it was when the computer came from the factory. Good luck.
