crazy virus? or registry checker?

July 5th, 2008 · 2 Comments

there is a crazy virus on my pc drives. it is not in taskmgr process list. it overwrites itself on deleting. it is not a single file to delete easily. it is auto start and auto boot load. it writes itself in 30 places in registry and rewrites registry keys on deleting. no antivirus could find it. it prevents installing famous antiviruses or proccess viewers.

gpo@file utility couldn't help me because there are 20 files to be deleted before system shell starts.

my question:

is there any registry cleaner to clean registry before system shell stats,ie before system start up.
i want to delete all registry keys related to this virus.

it is kazme__gheys.exe . foolish virus.

Try hat one.Delete the junk unnessecary files with it and then go to the registry tab and clean scan the registry, then clean the errors.Do this a few times until it detects nothing.

I am afraid that this sounds like a Rootkit, this is worse than a normal virus as they can sometimes embed themselves into your hardware.. which means even after you wipe the comp it can come back.. but hopefully this can help:

download this and scan for Rootkits
