custom monitor resolutions?

July 15th, 2008 · 1 Comment

i'm wondering if anyone out there might know how to make a custom widescreen resolution for an old non lcd 17 inch mag innovision pnp monitor. 32 bit and so on, i've downloaded a program called powerstrip but am still clueless as to how to force a windescreen resolution of 1680×1050. My max screen resolution i can go up to is 1024×1768so i'm not really sure what i should do or what i would need to do in order to get this resolution to run and work in world of warcraft. any help would be appreciated

      install powerstrip>
right click on the tray icon and select >> display profiles >>configure
click on Advanced Timing Options…a new window will open
      now click on custom resolutions…
you will now see many predefined resolutions…select one of them and click on Add new resolution.

      thats all ….
