okay. my dad passed away and technically i am supposed to be recieving 1400 dollars a month from social security but my mom is in charge of that money. it is to be used to finish raising me (age 18)
basically i will be kicked out of my house very soon (im 16) and am wondering how it is possible to get that money transferred over to my account so that i can finish high school and graduate while living. if she doesnt cooperate on transferring that sum of money to my account each month i need to make sure i get it.
ideas on how to legally get my fathers social security from my mother? money is legally to be used to finish raising me and if im not there then she is not raising me any more. how to fight for it
details on emancipation please? anything you know can and will help

Unless you are emancipated, you won’t be able to get control of the money.

Your mom is legally responsible for you until you turn 18. I don’t know what you mean by “kicked out soon”, but she will still retain the money and be in charge of it until you are 18. Your only hope is that you become emancipated (if your state has emancipation) but you may lose that money if you become emancipated. You need to google emancipation for your state. It varies greatly. You basically need to prove that your home life is worse than any other 16 yr old’s life and that you can financially support yourself without any govt. assistance. Emancipation makes you legally an adult. It can take many months.

Why don’t you ask her? I am sure you can have a serious conversation and work this out.

If you become emancipated, you are deemed an adult and NO ONE will get that money.
