Okay so i have defender pro 15 in 1 2008 & it will not freakin uninstall! ive tried to unistall it from add/remove programs in the control pannel & ive tried to uninstall it from defender pros own uninstall wizard but i keep getting this: Error 1921. Service Defender Pro Internet Security (AVP) could not be stopped. Verify sufficient privileges to stop system services. what the hell does that mean?! now im no computer geinus or anything like that, so i just need some simple uninstall instructions so i can get another software to protect my computer and not this defender pro shit. ive also tried to google ways to uninstall it but all ive found is forums with other people having the same problems with me. i just need to learn how to uninstall it before it crashes my computer…agian! so if you know of a way, please help….im DESPERATE!

I removed all the Defender Pro but the internet security.Now it tells me I can not uninstall that section of it. I can not install my ne new product untill I get that out.

I have a question for you. Would you change a flat tire while the car is moving? Would you replace a spark plug while the engine is running? Lastly, would you replace a wall outlet while the power is still running to the outlet? If your answer is yes to any of these then you need to remember one thing. You are looking for trouble.
I decided to uninstall my Defender Pro 2008 today. The first thing that I did was to open the Internet Security Control Panel and turn all the security features off. Once I did that I I exited or stopped Defender Pro from running on my computer. Then it was as simple as going into control panel, opening the add/remove software, and removing the Defender Pro Internet Security Suite. You will have to reboot your system for it to fully be removed but that should take care of your problem.

Lol ok i found it out just go to this web site my friend and read the instrutions that fit your computer and you should be good. I had the same problem and i was at the pont of throwing my computer out the window lol so i know how it can be but this should work i just did it and it worked like a carm good luck 2 ya. the site is down below.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnndd,,I was also able to use the msconfig to speed up my pc by making sure I left almost everything thats starts and runs at start-up unchecked after I did the restart, that wonderful glorious restart that showed my defender-pro was truly gone :):):):)

I’ve heard so many negative reviews for this software. My mom had bought it since it was the most economical and had all the seals of approval and crap like that. Its the Defender Pro 2009 by the way. I don’t know if all these problems are because many of you don\’t know how to use a computer or the software is actually that bad. This guy was having problems with it but one of his problems was that he still had a dial-up internet. He said it took him 8 hours to install. < Duh! My comp is slow in memory so all the things that I download I know its going to make it duller. So hopefully it works for me. All I care about is if it actually works as a whole antivirus. By the way you can go to their website and READ. It tells you about all the problems and how to uninstall it.
Computer softwares aren’t all plug in and let it all do everything for you. Hope everything works on this side and on your side too.

Even I have disable windows EXP antivirus and firewall still defender pro 2008 give me an error 13 and will not activate online, I have valid License ID and password, please help asap.

Well that was an insulting comment Chris,,what do you work for defender pro or something?? Why don’t you go get a copy and install it on your pc and then maybe you’ll have something relevant to say rather than assuming we don’t know how to use our pcs. >:(

this product defender pro 2009 from wal-mart made my home and business computer crash.. i’m online now reading how i’m not the only one that got screwed.. why in the world would wal-mart keep selling this product? i’m out a lot of time and money..
