I am trying to install Kaspersky Internet Security on my PC. However, the installation setup program told me that I had to remove Avast 4.0 and McAfee Internet Security before I could install it. I tried looking for the two programs in Add/Remove Programs but they were not there. I used the search program to look for anything related to the two programs so that I could erase them. After deleting everything I could find, I tried the installer for Kaspersky once more. Again, it told me that I had to remove both programs. I tried restarting my computer also but that did not help. Is there any way I can remove ALL traces of these two programs?
(I am also thinking it may have something to do with the registry of the two programs??)
Please help thanks
