Deleting the search box from Yahoo toolbar for Firefox?

The ONLY button I want to use on Yahoo toolbar for Firefox is the "new mail" icon. I don't want the link to Yahoo mail, I want the actual indicator that turns into a "bell" icon so I know I have new mail. But when I try to drag it up to my Firefox Bookmarks toolbar, it drags the search box, Yahoo Menu button and the "edit Yahoo toolbar settings" with it too. I don't WANT those, I just want the button that tells me I have new mail.

So how do I get rid of all of the other crap? I don't want to have 5 different toolbars open.
